RECOUNT TEXT

           Glad to see you buddy, did you ever write your journey or tell someone about your experience that you got in your holiday? I think you had, but did you know how to write it in the right way. How to write the paragraph one, two or three? The answer is RECOUNT TEXT. What is recount text? You will know if you read my post :D. Read it, but did you know if Recount text is the second text that will learn by student in Senior high school? They will get this text in tenth grade second semester. Did you know, ever heard, ever read, or ever write about recount text before? Okay stue read and practice it.

    A. Definition Recount Text

Recount text is a text that telling the reader about one story, action or activity. Its goal is to entertaining or informing the reading.

    B. Purpose of the text

To tell an event in the past time chronologically without conflict there.

    C. Generic Structure of The text

    Orientation 

       introduce the main character(s), the location and the time. To make it easier we can answer the question like who involved in the story, where it happened, and when it happened.

    Series or Even

       In series of events the writer writes the events chronologically. It begins from the first event, followed by the second event to the the last event. The sum of events depend on the creativity of the writer.

    Reorientation

        In reorientation the writer draw a conclusion or gives comment about the story. Not all recount text closed by reorientation. It is optional.

    D. Language

Using past tense. Example : we went to zoo, I was happy

Using conjunction and time connectives. Example : and, but, the, after that, etc.

Using adverbs and adverbial phrase. Example: yesterday, at my house, slowly, etc.

Using action verb. Example: went, slept, run, brought, etc.

    E. Example of recount text

My Adolescence

I had my adolescence when I was thirteen. It started with acne that showed up on my face. It was very annoying. It lowered my self-esteem and I was embarrassed to come out of my house and play with friends.

Fortunately, my Mum gave me a good medicine. In three weeks, the acnes started to vanish although those showed some black spots in my face.

That was my bad experience with adolescence, though there were still lots of good experience too.
